Routes 212, 215, 217, 224, 226 & 301 – Detours

Phase Two of Roundabout Project

Effective June 10 through the end of June 2024 

During this phase of construction, Routes 212–Bremerton/Silverdale West, 215–McWilliams, 217–Bremerton/Silverdale East, 224–Olympic College, 226–Bay Vista and 301–North Kitsap Fast Ferry will not travel Washington Avenue north of Sixth Street or 11th Street east of Pacific Avenue. This detour is expected to last through the end of June. Kitsap Transit will issue a new alert when the detour changes. 
 
Routes 212, 215 and 217 will travel Washington Avenue, Sixth Street and Pacific Avenue back to their regular route. 

Route 224 will travel Washington Avenue, Sixth Street and Pacific Avenue back to its normal route. Trips returning to the Bremerton Transportation Center (BTC) will continue on Pacific Avenue to BTC.

Route 226 Update: Starting on Monday, June 10, Route 226 will travel Washington Avenue and Sixth Street to its normal route. Trips returning to BTC will travel Warren Avenue and Burwell Street to BTC.

Route 301 will travel Washington Avenue, Burwell Street and Warren Avenue back to its regular route. 

Routes 212, 215, 217, 224 and 226 will not serve two bus stops on Washington Avenue during the road closure. Two temporary stops will be added: one south of Sixth Street on Pacific Avenue and one on Sixth Street west of Pacific Avenue. The stops on Washington Avenue will remain open for Routes 221, 225 and 229. See map for details.
