Routes 221 & 225 – Detour
Manette Bridge Closure

Effective Saturday, June 29

On Saturday, June 29, the Manette Bridge will be closed all day for the Bremerton Bridge Blast event.

Routes 221–Perry Avenue and 225–Sheridan Park will travel Burwell Street, Warren Avenue and the Warren Avenue Bridge, bypassing a portion of Washington Avenue and the Manette Bridge. Route 221 will not serve any part of its route south of 16th Street in Manette, nor will it serve Almira Drive and Riddell Road. Route 221 will cover a portion of Wheaton Way east of the Warren Avenue Bridge normally covered by Route 225. After exiting the Warren Avenue Bridge, Route 225 will travel Hemlock Street, Callahan Drive, Wheaton Way and Lebo Boulevard returning to its normal route.

Routes 224-Olympic College, 226–Bay Vista, 212– Bremerton/Silverdale West and 217– Bremerton/Silverdale East will continue to operate their current detour. See our website for more details.

During the event, several stops will be temporarily closed south of 16th Street in Manette and on Almira Drive. Stops on Washington Avenue north of Sixth Street will be closed and Route 221 will not serve stops on Riddell Road.

Trips may have minor delays due to the detour and alternate routing.
