Delays during construction at Bay Street and Bethel Avenue  

Effective Thursday, August 29 

Roadwork has resumed on the Bay Street and Bethel Avenue roundabout project in Port Orchard. Roadwork is expected to delay traffic on Thursday, Aug. 29 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

Passengers riding Routes 4–Tremont, 5–Sidney, 8–Bethel, 9–East Port Orchard, 81–Annapolis Commuter and 86–Southworth should expect delays of 15 to 30 minutes during this roadwork. Kitsap Transit cannot guarantee on-time connections to the Port Orchard Ferry Dock, the Southworth Ferry Terminal or other bus routes at this time.

Passengers should plan ahead and anticipate there will be times buses will not make the scheduled connection with the Port Orchard Ferry, Southworth Ferry or other bus routes.
