Routes 4, 5, 8, 9 & 86 – Service Ends Early

Effective Saturday, June 29

On Saturday, June 29, from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM, the City of Port Orchard will host a parade along Highway 166 from Port Orchard Boulevard to Bethel Avenue. Highway 166 and a portion of Bay Street to Bethel Avenue will be closed during this event. Port Orchard Boulevard will be closed starting at 1:45 PM for event staging. 

Route 4–Tremont will end service early, with the last departure from the Port Orchard Ferry Dock at 4:30 PM. Route 4 will not operate the last trip departing the Port Orchard Ferry Dock at 5:30 PM.  

Route 5–Sidney will end service early, with the last departure from the Port Orchard Ferry Dock at 5:00 PM. Route 5 will not complete its round trip and will end service at the Kitsap County Courthouse at approximately 5:20 PM.  

Route 8–Bethel will depart the Port Orchard Ferry Dock at 5:00 PM as scheduled and will end service early with the last drop-off at the First Lutheran Park & Ride at 5:17 PM. All remaining PM service will be canceled. 

Route 9–East Port Orchard will depart the Port Orchard Ferry Dock at 4:30 PM as scheduled, but will not return to the Port Orchard Ferry Dock. Service will end at the intersection of Bay Street and Bethel Avenue at approximately 5:12 PM. All remaining PM service will be canceled. 

Route 86–Southworth Shuttle will end service early, with the last departure from the Port Orchard Ferry Dock at 4:36 PM. All remaining trips will operate between the Southworth Ferry Terminal and the Port Orchard Armory.
