Snow Service Update Through 2 PM, Thursday, Feb. 6
EXTREME WEATHER BULLETIN

Due to winter weather conditions, all Routed bus services will operate Emergency Routes through 2 PM today, Feb. 6. At noon the Silverdale Transit Center will reopen. We will issue a rider alert around 1 PM with an update on the status of afternoon bus service.

• During Emergency Service operations, Routed buses will not follow a regular schedule and will operate only on main roads. To see our Emergency Routes, CLICK HERE. Below each regional map, there are links for bus stops served along these routes. 
• ACCESS will operate life-sustaining trips only. Contact ACCESS at 1-800-422-2877 to reschedule your trip. 
• All On-Demand/Dial-a-Ride services are canceled.
• Silverdale Transit Center will reopen at noon today. Once the Silverdale Transit Center is open, we will not pick up passengers in the parking lot south of WinCo Foods. Passengers can catch the bus along Kitsap Mall Boulevard.

Kitsap Transit Fast Ferries and Local Foot Ferries will continue to operate normal schedules unless high winds or unsafe conditions at a dock force us to cancel sailings.

If we make changes to service, they will occur at 9 AM, Noon, 3 PM and 7 PM on weekdays and 10 AM and 2 PM on weekends. We plan to issue a Rider Alert about 45 minutes before each service change. If we are not making changes to service in the next interval, we may not issue a rider alert or update for that interval.

Kitsap Transit encourages riders to take precautions and be prepared:

• If your stop is on a hill, please walk to a stop on flat ground.
• Give yourself plenty of time to get to the bus stop in the snow. Your bus stop may be late during inclement weather, so dress warmly and please be patient.
• The floor of the bus or ferry may be slippery. Please use caution.
