High Wind Advisory: Extra Worker/Driver trip for PSNS Workers departing at 4:09 PM Monday – 2/24

High winds are forecasted Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning. Kitsap Transit local ferries may be delayed or canceled if conditions become unsafe to operate.

Kitsap Transit will operate an extra Worker/Driver trip for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Workers who may be affected by ferry cancelations or would prefer to avoid rough sailing conditions. The bus will depart Building 445/460 at 4:09 PM, Monday, Feb. 24. The bus will take passengers to Bay Street at Sidney Avenue, the Annapolis Park & Ride, and the Armory Park & Ride.

Alternate commute options if sailings are canceled for Tuesday, Feb. 25:

• For workers who report between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM – Early South Worker/Driver
• For workers who report at standard day shift time – Manchester Worker/Driver
