Route 226 ­– Detour 
One-Lane Closure on National

Effective Tuesday, October 1, 2024

On Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, a portion of National Avenue will be reduced to one lane during repaving work. This closure is expected to last one day.

Starting at 7:30 AM, Route 226–Bay Vista will not serve Kitsap Way between National Avenue and Adele Avenue or National Avenue heading southbound to Columbia Way. During the road closure, buses will travel Adele Avenue, Bertha Avenue, Dora Avenue and Columbia Way to the West Bremerton Transportation Center (see map). 

Route 226 will operate its normal route when traveling northbound on National Avenue.

Two southbound bus stops on National Avenue will be temporarily closed during the repaving work. One stop on Kitsap Way, west of Adele Avenue will be closed to Route 226.
